Sunset 3 | 4th Street, Del Mar

Story:

4th Street was also named “Del Mar Height Blvd.” as it climbed away from Pacific Coast Highway and over the hill into vacant land beyond. At least it started out vacant. Over the next ten years a road, then a few houses, then more houses, eventually an entire neighborhood and an elementary school went up.

But the original 4th street dead-ended at a dirt road to the beach and this is that memory, that time.
